Hello all & welcome !! Yay !!

I think it’s always nice to know the mechanics behind the scene of someone’s brand . I want you to know who I am . To know what makes me tick and how this whole holi concept came about . With holi being an online shop , which is great in so many ways but also creates a lack of personal connection which is something that I fuel off and also something that I believe is lessening in our modern society . So I want to get to know you too through the powers of social media and the technology that lingers at our fingertips . . .

holi ( pronounced holy ) is short for holistic a powerful word and all encompassing of my brands ethos . This has been an organic process . I didn’t just stumble across the concept of organic sportsluxe wear it was a natural progression as well as being something that had always been on my horizon . I went through a massive detox in my life because I wasn’t satisfied how things were for me and wondered why I was constantly frustrated . Not one to ever give into circumstance I began to make changes . Small changes leading to what I believe is a better life for one and all .

Oddly enough this started with elimination of toxic people in my life . I had no idea just how many people I had surrounded myself with who I would pour good energy into & the company I was in was sour . The scales were tipped . It was an eye opening experience as well as a saddening one . Ending these types of friendships only made way for amazing people in my life that I am blessed to still have in my life today .

Next was food . I could rave about this all day but I will keep it short and sweet . What I can say about this subject is that I became more mindful . I was raised with ‘ wholefood ‘ by my parents so health was ingrained into me from the beginning . I am blessed to have a head start on this factor . But by being more aware of what I purchased and how and where I began to realise that when we purchase we make a decision as who we support and why . This is very powerful . I gained a conscience . . . this conscious and mindful thinking is an easy switch . I am constantly educating myself on better ways to consume that not only benefit me and my family but local economics and in turn the wider world . We can be the change . I am a firm believer .

Naturally this mindful way of thinking led into a niche I spotted in the market for an organic & sustainable yet stylish sportswear brand . Along came holi . The creativity for fashion has coursed through my veins for as long as I can remember . I can still recall putting together outfits for kindergarten and my mother being pretty impressed by my styling abilities !! holi allows me to put together my passion for a cleaner greener life and fashion all rolled into one divine little project that I can really make my own . I feel blessed and proud to bring you all my first collection wrapped in care & love .
